The Alt Right are really the Main Left

Dirtbag Donny (or Donnie) is followed by a bunch of goose-stepping idiots that I unflatteringly call “trumpanzees”.  No matter what you point out about him, no matter what new and terrible thing jumps out of his closet of skeletons, they support him, and they do so hatefully and with full-throttle stupidity.  This article is a description not of Trump, but of his army of mindless, screaming, crap-throwing simians, the Trumpanzees.

trumpanzees

I will be commenting on an article by Robert Tracinski, detailing the mindset of these unwashed buffoons, what makes them tick and what they really are (hint:  it’s neither “right wing”, nor “Conservative”).

trigger warning

OK, let’s get down to brass tax, and dive into the article.  If any trumpanzees read this and are offended, that’s tough (which is really funny, considering trumpanzees consider themselves such tough guys, and worship a bigger idiot that claims – falsely – that he’s such a tough guy).  Anyhow, this is from the well-regarded Conservative internet magazine The Federalist.

Yes, The Alt-Right Are Just a Bunch of Racists

Hey, lefties, we finally found your racists for you.

For as long as I can remember, people like me—by which I mean advocates of capitalism and free markets and freedom of speech—have been accused by the left of being secret racists who pine for the gold old days of the antebellum South. Tiresome stuff like this. Then along comes a group of actual, declared racists who really do pine for the antebellum South, and who is one of the main targets of their invective? People like me.

Now let’s get this straight.  Conservatives were actually  the ones that FOUGHT democrat leftists over the abolition of Slavery.  The Confederates were DEMOCRATS.

confederate vp on slavery

The Union forces were driven by the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, a Conservative that was backed by many Conservatives, including Conservatives serving in the military primarily composed of White people that kicked the liberals’ asses.

The people fighting under the confederate rage were traitors of the lowest stripe, and LEFTIST DEMOCRATS.

flag-vs-rag

The same people, yesterday, that sought to enslave people for the color of their skin with chains, look to enslave EVERYBODY with government regulations and an unconstitutional, un-American monopoly guns.

Anyhow, back to the article.

Kind of ironic, eh?

I’m talking about the so-called “alt-right,” which stands for “alternative right,” though I can’t find anything particularly “right-wing” about them—not in the American sense, which has traditionally meant advocacy of free markets, individual rights, and the ideals of our Founding Fathers.

Frankly, it’s a little embarrassing that we even have to debate this, but by launching his campaign on a “Mexican immigrants are rapists” platform, Donald Trump brought the alt-right out of the woodwork. And that has led to a couple of efforts recently to run interference for the alt-right, describing them in sympathetic terms.

That’s not going to fly, for five reasons.

He’s right, there is nothing Right about these trumpanzees, at all.  Anyone that stands for things like protectionism, authoritarianism, mass murder through total war, economic illiteracy and is a champion of the leftist ideals of racism is no Right Wing Conservative.  In Europe, racist thugs are called ‘right wing’.  In America, that is not true (and Europeans are frequently wrong about most things, anyway, so they’re no barometer of anything). Right Wing is Conservative, here, and there’s nothing Conservative about Trump,

trump clinton conspiracy

or his mindless, soul-less minions.

hannity kissing trump ass

1) ‘White identity politics’ is racism.

Apologies for the alt-right depend on a distinction between “real” racists of the hard-core neo-Nazi variety and mere “tribalists” and advocates of “white identity politics.” But that’s a distinction without much of a difference. The “identitarians” are just white supremacists with delusions of being intellectual.

If you think people are fundamentally defined by the color of their skin and by their ethnic and genetic background, then you are a racist, because that’s what “racism” means. If you think that your most important cultural and political priority is to defend the supposed interests of white people in opposition to the interests of other racial groups, then you are a white supremacist, because that’s what “supremacy” means. Dress it up however you like, but that’s what you stand for.

And yes, of course the left does it, too. They have their own racist theories dressed up under the heading of “identity politics.” So what? Your mom told you the answer to this when you were five: two wrongs don’t make a right.

obama trump orange is the new black

Trumpanzees won’t admit this, but the same racism that they decried in Obama, they love in Donald Dick.  When Blacks engage in identity politicking, it’s racism.  When Latinos (there’s no such thing as a “hispanic“) engage in racial identity politicking, it’s racism.

trumpanzees can't debate

If Asians do it, if Indians do it, etc.  However, in the mind of someone like the trumpanzee, it’s right, if they do it, and they’ve been waiting for years for their opportunity to do so. Why?  Because they’re nothing more than authoritarian leftists in disguise.  Nothing more sophisticated, than that (in spite of what they’d tell you, and have you believe). Trumpanzees don’t think critically (partially because their brains aren’t sufficiently developed to do so), and so they don’t question why they’re so in lock-step with elements like the Ku Klux Klan, as they support both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Racism is not a Conservative value.  It’s liberal, and that’s been proven, time and again. Trumpanzees are not Conservatives, and they are racists.

Yes, Milo Yiannopoulos is not a Conservative, either.  He’s just a gay leftist, trying to play Conservative, but he’s shown his true colors, more than once.

Believe me, there’s much more, but I’ll go on.

2) The alt-right agenda is to ban miscegenation.

The primary political program of the alt-right is not opposition to immigration, though that is clearly important to them. The main reason they oppose immigration is because letting in brown-skinned people might lead to white people marrying them and producing non-white babies. Their real central demand is an end to miscegenation, the mixing of the races.

Analyze everything they say, and it all boils down to that. When they talk about “white genocide,” that’s what they mean: not that people of European descent are going to be stuffed into ovens, but that whites will be wiped out of existence by interbreeding with dark-skinned people. It’s summed up in lovely little arguments like this one.

That’s also why “cuckservative” is their go-to insult for those of us who are actually on the right. It refers to the idea that non-racists want to be cuckolded by letting their women sleep with black men.

So the alt-right agenda is a throwback, at best, to the Jim Crow South.

Milo Yiannopoulos attacked Ben Shapiro on this basis, showing his newborn son as “…half-Black“.  This shows that he has a hatred of Blacks, and that he considers someone being physically involved with someone Black as being both revolting and disgusting, and that the products of such unions are things to be trotted out in side shows.  This is how the left thinks, this his how trumpanzees think.  Like most liberals, they are given to flights of fantasy, fueled by Hitler-esque junk science, instead of real science.  This shouldn’t surprise anyone, given the fact that Neo Nazis love Thump.

http://usuncut.com/politics/neo-nazis-trump-supporters/

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/white-nationalists-support-donald-trump/story?id=37524610

Generally, trumpanzees are those people that cry about aliens (both legal and illegal) coming to the US to take their jobs, because they’re too stupid and unskilled, themselves, to defend their tenuous positions in the Free Market, without government intervention. They dislike Blacks for valid, and invalid reasons.  In validity, they dislike Blacks, because too many Blacks are a bunch of whiny crybabies with their hands out, saying people owe them something, because they’re Black, and see Obama as their secret weapon to get back at White people.

BLACK-PERSTECTIVE-RACE-CARD

Invalidly, they broad brush everybody that has dark skin with this, and say this is what all Blacks are like.

gay black jewish klansmen

This is because they’re not mentally sophisticated enough to make rational decisions (hence, supporting Donald Thump) or see reason (hence, supporting Donald Thump).  I happen to have a White girlfriend, currently, and a great dislike for racists, no matter where they come from, what color they are, or what their reasoning could be.  This is even more fuel for my dislike of Thump and the trumpanzees.  Bottom line:  if you’re White, you have absolutely nothing to be proud of.  You didn’t defend Blacks in the Civil War, and even if you’re related to someone that did, you didn’t do it, and they weren’t motivated to do it because they were white.  If you’re Black, same thing:  that’s absolutely nothing to be proud of.  Asian?  Same thing.  American Indian?  Sit down and STFU. Eastern Indian, same thing.  You had absolutely zero input on your eventual skin color, and even if you did, the color of your skin is no accomplishment, and doesn’t make you better than anybody else.  Want to be proud of something?  Tout your degree.  How many lives you saved.  How you served honorably in the United States military.  Etc.  Your skin color (and the brains of trumpanzees) is just a useless cosmetic.

NOTHING MORE.

Oh, and afore we forget, Jim Crow was invented by LIBERALS.  DEMOCRATS.

http://www.theacru.org/jimcrow/

3) The alt-right are hard-core collectivists.

This “alt-right” agenda is not really part of the “right” because it is thoroughly collectivist in a vile and personal way. It says that your most personal, individual, deeply meaningful decisions—such as whom you marry and have children with—should be determined by some larger social program based on group identity.

That’s why they are openly opposed to free markets in favor of economic nationalism: this is an anti-freedom, anti-individualist movement. And it’s a big reason why the distinction between “identitarians” and white supremacists is a false one. Both are joined by the premise, “Du bist nichts; dein Volk ist alles.” You are nothing, your race is everything.

Sounds like leftist RACIAL HYGENE and Hitler-esque economics.

4) Tribalism is not ‘pro-Western.’

The big fig leaf of the alt-right is that they want to protect Western Civilization—by throwing out its distinctive ideas and achievements.

The central theme of the Western intellectual tradition is about rising above tribalism to arrive at universal values. That’s a common theme that connects both secular and Christian traditions in the West. It was the whole distinctive idea behind the Ancient Greek revolution in thought. Philosophers like Socrates launched the Western tradition by asking probing questions that were meant to sort out which ideas and practices are based merely on historical accident and social convention, versus those that are based on universal laws of human nature.

Tribalism, by contrast, is the default state of every culture and can be found among every people in every corner of the world. There is nothing distinctively Western about it, and it runs against the whole grain of the Western intellectual tradition.

So by reverting to tribalism, the alt-right is saying that they had to destroy Western Civilization in order to save it.

The fact that much of the alt-right is ignorant of the Western tradition was made clear to me by those who insist that Hispanic immigrants are culturally “non-Western” and “non-European.” They are apparently unaware that “Hispanic” refers to the linguistic and cultural influence of Spain, which is in—anyone? anyone?—Western Europe. So much for caring about the cultural legacy of the West.

I’ll let that speak for itself.

5) The alt-right are dancing to the left’s tune.

The alt-right originated by looking at the left’s caricature of the right as racists and pro-white tribalists and saying, in effect: sure, we’ll be that.

For example, a recent apologia for the alt-right makes a big deal of quoting liberal social psychologist Jonathan Haidt’s condescending description of Republican voters as authoritarians motivated by “in-group loyalty,” who are therefore suspicious of the people in other groups. This is an old smear. Democrats desperately need Republicans to be small-minded racists, because that’s how the party of slavery and segregation has managed to slough off its own disreputable history and push the stigma of it onto their political opponents.

The alt-right is enabling this fraud. They accept the left’s intellectual framework and eagerly take on the role of the villain that the left assigned to us. Then they have the effrontery to present themselves as big rebels against the left. What a joke.

You could argue that the alt-right is a consequence of the left’s abuse of the stigma against racism. By reflexively denouncing as a racist everyone who disagrees with them about economics, and by making every detail of ordinary life into a minefield of hidden racial transgressions, they have burned up their own credibility. In the process, they have weakened the culture’s immune system against racism and made it possible for a young cohort of racists to repackage their odious creed as resistance to political correctness.

As tempting as it is to point this out, we still have to take responsibility for dealing with the problem. If the left has destroyed the credibility of its own resistance to racism, then it is up to us to take up the slack and do the job right. It’s up to the right to take the lead in fighting the ancient scourge of tribal hatred and to diligently purge these new racists who are trying to attach themselves to our movement.

The alt-right isn’t part of the intellectual traditions of the American right, nor is it an alternative to anything. It’s just the same old white-sheet set, repackaged with red “Make America Great Again” golf caps. They’re serving as ignorant tools of the left, and they should be exposed as such.

republican useful idiot

#5 Pretty much sums everything previous to it up.  Trumpanzees are leftists, plain and simple.  They have leftist ideals, they think and believe as leftists think and believe, and they push a far left agenda in the pursuit of their far left “leader”, Donald Thump. Everything the left blames the Right for has been a case of pure projection.  Everything they blame Conservatives for, they’re the ones doing.  Now, with trumpanzees claiming they’re “republicans” and lying to the world that they’re somehow “conservative”, all they’re doing is giving the left a reason to tell everyone that’ll still listen to them that they were right about Conservatives and Republicans, all along.

  1. I do not support the alt right, but I don’t agree with this article at all. The Confederates were not traitors. They just wanted their independence. I don’t think its honestly accurate to describe 19th Century Democrats as “liberals”. That flag is not a traitor flag. It is the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. In which men fought to save their homeland from Federal invaders. The article supposition that the Republicans launched a war to “free slaves” is Northern revisionist history. Have you not read what Abe Lincoln really said about race and slavery? If not, I will leave you some quotes by “honest Abe ” himself:

“I am not now, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social or political equality of the white and black races. I am not now nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor of intermarriages with white people. There is a physical difference between the white and the black races which will forever forbid the two races living together on social or political equality. There must be a position of superior and inferior, and I am in favor of assigning the superior position to the white man.”

“If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that.”

“I thought that in your struggle for the Union, to whatever extent the negroes should cease helping the enemy, to that extent it weakened the enemy in his resistance to you. Do you think differently? I thought that whatever negroes can be got to do as soldiers, leaves just so much less for white soldiers to do, in saving the Union. Does it appear otherwise to you? But negroes, like other people, act upon motives. Why should they do any thing for us, if we will do nothing for them? If they stake their lives for us, they must be prompted by the strongest motive—even the promise of freedom. And the promise being made, must be kept.”
    ABE LINCOLN LIBERAL REPUBLICAN

See? The South was not liberal. It was the conservative area of the country. That believed in states rights. The radical federalist Republicans invaded the South by force and destroyed it. Does that sound like conservatives? No, it doesn’t to me. Good day.

  2. One more thing also: a true conservative is a traditionalist. The South was far more traditional than the North. The Northern Federalists were utmost liberals of their day. The South wanted to preserve their way of life. Some supported slavery in that sense, but not all. In fact Jefferson Davis himself said “We fight not for slavery , but for independence”. How in your “right mind” could you think the Confederacy was a liberal movement? It certainly was not. It was a very patriotic movement. A very traditional movement. They still have slavery in the North . General Lee freed his slaves in 1862. The Emancipation Proclamation was not written until a year later.

Mr Lincoln waged a war against the South. He sent troops into the Southern states to surround them and coerce them into war. The truth is, there was good and bad on both sides. But to say that Republicans were the conservatives of that time- I wholeheartedly disagree.

And before you attack me- I am a conservative Republican. but if this were 1860, I would be voting for Jeff Davis. My ancestors all fought bravely for the Southern states during the War for Southern Independence. They were “lefitsts liberals”. You are so misguided and need to learn real history .

  3. “I do not support the alt right, but I don’t agree with this article at all.”

    OK.

“The Confederates were not traitors. They just wanted their independence.”

Yes, they were. They engaged in an open movement to violently overthrow the legal federal government. They waged open warfare against that government, and it’s citizens. They were unlawful enemy combatants, and therefore, the kills they committed were murders. They even set up their own, unconstitutional government on land stolen from the territory of the continental United States.

    Those were traitors.

“I don’t think its honestly accurate to describe 19th Century Democrats as “liberals”.”

I do, and that’s why I did it. They thought it was perfectly OK to victimize people based on their skin color. Liberals, today, think the same thing. They thought it was the right thing to do to live off the labor of others, and force them to produce more, no matter the personal pain or cost, to make their lives better. Liberals, today, are the same way.

“That flag is not a traitor flag. It is the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. In which men fought to save their homeland from Federal invaders.”

You’re obviously biased, and the article probably was, inadvertently, describing you. That flag was flown by people that fired on American citizens, in order to steal land away from the US, so they could set up their own, illegitimate claim, based in violence. That “battle” was one fought against the constitutional government that rightfully controlled the CONUS. The Confederacy was not rightfully in control of anything. If it was independence they wanted, they very well could’ve gone further west,

    http://xroads.virginia.edu/~map/territory/1860map.html

as opposed to engaging in a campaign of terrorism, insurrection and mass murder. And calling American citizens with the right to go anywhere they want, and the duty to enforce federal law “invaders” is just dumb.

“The article supposition that the Republicans launched a war to “free slaves” is Northern revisionist history. Have you not read what Abe Lincoln really said about race and slavery? If not, I will leave you some quotes by “honest Abe ” himself:”

Don’t bother, I read just as much, if not more, than you do. You can try to smear Lincoln to your heart’s content, but there’s the other thing you’re not bringing up, in your attempt to revise history: Lincoln DID free the slaves. You people that were such fans of the dirtbag insurrectionists of the Confederacy fake government operated under these words:

“If slavery be a sin, it is not yours. It does not rest on your action for its origin, on your consent for its existence. It is a common law right to property in the service of man; its origin was Divine decree.”
    ~Jefferson Davis, wannabe president

“African slavery, as it exists in the United States, is a moral, a social, and a political blessing.”
    ~Jefferson Davis, wannabe president

“My own convictions as to negro slavery are strong. It has its evils and abuses…We recognize the negro as God and God’s Book and God’s Laws, in nature, tell us to recognize him – our inferior, fitted expressly for servitude…You cannot transform the negro into anything one-tenth as useful or as good as what slavery enables them to be.”
    ~Jefferson Davis, wannabe president

“[Slavery] was established by decree of Almighty God…it is sanctioned in the Bible, in both Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation…it has existed in all ages, has been found among the people of the highest civilization, and in nations of the highest proficiency in the arts.”
    ~Jefferson Davis, wannabe president

“It [slavery] was established by decree of Almighty God…it is sanctioned in the Bible, in both Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation…it has existed in all ages, has been found among the people of the highest civilization, and in nations of the highest proficiency in the arts…Let the gentleman go to Revelation to learn the decree of God – let him go to the Bible…I said that slavery was sanctioned in the Bible, authorized, regulated, and recognized from Genesis to Revelation…Slavery existed then in the earliest ages, and among the chosen people of God; and in Revelation we are told that it shall exist till the end of time shall come. You find it in the Old and New Testaments – in the prophecies, psalms, and the epistles of Paul; you find it recognized, sanctioned everywhere.”.
    ~Jefferson Davis, wannabe president

Then there’s this leftist, Alexander H. Stephens, wannabe vice president of the illegitimate, fake government in his “cornerstone speech”:

“Our new government is founded upon exactly [this] idea; its foundations are laid, its corner-stone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery subordination to the superior race, is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth.”

There’s what Lincoln (REAL president, of a LEGITIMATE government that still exists, to this day, and isn’t full of a bunch of sad, racist assholes saying it’ll return) SAID:

“Whenever I hear any one arguing for slavery I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.” The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume VIII, “Speech to One Hundred Fortieth Indiana Regiment” (March 17, 1865), p. 361.

“We think slavery a great moral wrong, and while we do not claim the right to touch it where it exists, we wish to treat it as a wrong in the territories, where our votes will reach it.” The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume IV, “Speech at New Haven, Connecticut” (March 6, 1860), p. 16.

“I am naturally anti-slavery. If slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong. I can not remember when I did not so think, and feel.” The Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln edited by Roy P. Basler, Volume VII, “Letter to Albert G. Hodges” (April 4, 1864), p. 281.

And then there’s what Abraham Lincoln DID, but I assume you know that, because you’re still, like so many other sad, southern leftists, trying to spread lies about it, and re-write history, claiming the truth is ‘revision’.

“See? The South was not liberal.”

Yes, it was, and in many instances, still is, hence their undying love for the Slave Party.

“It was the conservative area of the country.”

It’s funny someone claiming to be such a historian has no idea what Conservatism actually is, or Liberalism, but you think you can identify the ideologies of the time, by labeling them completely against their words and deeds. The south was/is the home of the DNC, a political party founded on a basis (a “cornerstone”) of white supremacy, racism, slavery, torture, rape, murder and the deprivation of Human Rights.

“7. Resolved, That congress has no power, under the constitution, to interfere with or control the domestic institutions of the several states, and that such states are the sole and proper judges of everything appertaining to their own affairs, not prohibited by the constitution; that all efforts by abolitionists or others, made to induce congress to interfere with questions of slavery, or to take incipient steps in relation thereto, are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences, and that all such efforts have an inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people, and endanger the stability and permanency of the union, and ought not to be countenanced by any friend to our political institutions.”

“9. That Congress has no power under the constitution to interfere with or control the domestic institutions of the several States, and that such States are the sole and proper judges of everything appertaining to their own affairs not prohibited by the constitution; that all efforts of the abolitionists or others made to induce Congress to interfere with questions of slavery, or to take incipient steps in relation thereto, are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences; and that all such efforts have an inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the Union, and ought not to be countenanced by any friend of our political institutions.

Resolved, That the foregoing proposition covers, and was intended to embrace, the whole subject of slavery agitation in Congress; and therefore the democratic party of the Union, standing on this national platform, will abide by and adhere to a faithful execution of the acts known as the compromise measures settled by the last Congress—”the act for reclaiming fugitives from service or labor” included; which act, being designed to carry out an express provision of the constitution, cannot, with fidelity thereto be repealed nor so changed as to destroy or impair its efficiency.

    1. Resolved, That we, the Democracy of the Union in Convention assembled, hereby declare our affirmance of the resolutions unanimously adopted and declared as a platform of principles by the Democratic Convention at Cincinnati, in the year 1856, believing that Democratic principles are unchangeable in their nature, when applied to the same subject matters; and we recommend, as the only further resolutions, the following:
    2. Inasmuch as difference of opinion exists in the Democratic party as to the nature and extent of the powers of a Territorial Legislature, and as to the powers and duties of Congress, under the Constitution of the United States, over the institution of slavery within the Territories,

Resolved, That the Democratic party will abide by the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States upon these questions of Constitutional law.

    CONSERVATIVE:
“A conservative is someone who rises above his personal self-interest and promotes moral and economic values beneficial to all. A conservative is willing to learn and advocate the insights of economics and the logic of the Bible for the benefit of everyone else. A conservative favors conserving value by not giving handouts to anyone who does not really need them.
A conservative typically adheres to principles of personal responsibility, moral values, and limited government, agreeing with George Washington’s Farewell Address that “religion and morality are indispensable supports” to political prosperity.

Phil Crane, the leading conservative congressman in the House from 1969 to 2005, urged people to make the world a better place than where they found it, and quoted frequently from the Bible in pursuit of that goal.[3]
Former President Ronald Reagan said, “The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom.””
    http://www.conservapedia.com/Conservative

This is the opposite of what southern democrats believed and fought for, and don’t believe or fight for, to this very day.

    LIBERAL:
A liberal is someone who craves an increase in government spending, power, and control, such as ObamaCare. Liberals also support the censorship and denial of Christianity.[1] Liberals who are a part of the secular left prefer the atheist religion over the Christian faith, as atheism has no objective morality to hinder their big government plans.[2] Increasingly, liberals side with the homosexual agenda, including homosexual “marriage”. Liberals favor a welfare state where people receive endless entitlements without working.[3] The liberal ideology has degenerated into economically unsound views and intolerant ideology. All liberals support, in knee-jerk fashion, the opposite of conservative principles, while lacking an actual ideology or values of their own.[4]
Polling data has consistently shown that an increasingly large percentage of Americans identify as conservative, rather than as liberal, currently by 38% to 21%.[5] However, liberals and “progressives” oftentimes falsely say the exact opposite.
Liberals support the following political positions and practices:[6]
Wasting money on ineffective government programs (the significant economic problems in the Eurozone due to government debt will no doubt increasingly discredit this aspect of liberal ideology and make things more difficult for advocates of liberal economic ideologies)
Denial of science[7] (especially creation science)
Government’s ability to solve economic problems[8]
    Hypocrisy[9]
The belief that terrorism is not a huge threat, and that the main reason for Muslim extremists’ hostility towards America is because of bad foreign policy [8]
    Brainwashing voters with propaganda
    Hedonism
    Taxpayer-funded and state-encouraged abortion
    Rejection of Biblical standards
    Hatred[10]
    Censorship[11]
    Socialism[12]
Unsuccessful Keynesian economics as opposed to sound free market economics
    Crying instead of accepting reality[13]
Cessation of teacher-led prayer in classrooms and school/state-sponsored religious events.
    Ending Western morality[14]
    Gun control
    Tyranny[15]
    Treason[16]
    Elitism[17]
    Pseudo-intellectualism[18]
    Affirmative action[8]
Opposition to government regulation or restriction of obscenity, pornography and violence in video games as a First Amendment right[19]
    Authoritarian government[20]
    Genocide[21]
Government-funded medical care, such as Obamacare
    Fascism
    Belief in evolution
Destroying the Christian foundations on which America was built on.
Destroying conservative family values and replacing them with immoral Hollywood values, such as abortion
    Brainwashing through government-censored public education
Limiting personal freedom.[22] Liberal support for gun control is an example of this.
High progressive taxes[23] as a form of class warfare against wealthy business owners.[24]

Liberals currently use two Clauses of the Constitution to try to expand their power: the Commerce Clause and the General Welfare Clause. The General Welfare Clause mentions “promoting the general welfare”. This to a liberal means taxing the rich at increased rates and redistributing that money. The Commerce Clause, on the other hand, says that Congress has the power to regulate trade with foreign nations, between the states and with the Indian tribes. Since the days of FDR this Clause has been interpreted very loosely and has resulted in the federal government expanding its power. The latest example is The Affordable Care Act (ACA), better known as Obamacare. In the ACA, the liberals justify the individual mandate by saying it regulates commerce between the states.
The decline in liberal principles can be illustrated by how Franklin Delano Roosevelt opposed and condemned public sector unions, stating that the idea of collective bargaining can’t be transferred from the private to the public sector, as that would result in the government being unable to carry out its duties. Yet today, decades later, Democrats and liberals are in lock-step with public sector unions, as they “donate” money to the reelection campaign in exchange for more taxpayer money in their wallets and fluffed up pensions.
Current dictionaries describe the liberal ideology by pretending that a liberal is “a person who favors a political philosophy of progress and reform and the protection of civil liberties” or “a person who favors an economic theory of laissez-faire and self-regulating markets,”[43] or “open-minded or tolerant, especially free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc.” or “favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.”[44] In practical usage, the term “liberal” is more closely synonymous with “radical,” “immoral,” “anti-freedom,” “elitist,” or “bad.”

    That’s you guys.

I applaud those “radical” Republicans of yesteryear for having the courage to fight the tyrannical leftists you idolize, and probably adorn your house with the flags of, including my great^6 and great^5 grandfathers, before the GOP, who fought against your heroes.

“That believed in states rights.” No, they believed in manufacturing issues and cloaking them under that guise, such as the nonexistent right to victimize, torture and murder people, based on their skin color and ethnicity, but I guess you think that is a right.

“The radical federalist Republicans invaded the South by force and destroyed it.” No, actually they didn’t invade, because the radical, federalist Republicans were citizens of the same country, and, therefor didn’t invade (and let’s not forget who fired the first shot: http://www.civilwar.org/battlefields/fort-sumter.html?referrer=https://www.google.com/).

    “Does that sound like conservatives?”

Yes, it does. It sounds like people dedicated to the preservation of law and order, who laid it on the line against bloodthirsty pirates and domestic terrorists that were dedicated to fighting AGAINST law and order. I did, when I put on the uniform.

“No, it doesn’t to me.” Not knowing what Conservatism is, it doesn’t surprise me.

    Social conservatism
Social conservatism refers to conservative values on non-fiscal matters, such as the promoting defense of marriage, opposition to abortion, opposition to homosexuality, and promoting common sense Christian values. The views of social conservatives and religious conservatives often overlap.
Social conservatism can be contrasted with the marriage-destroying, homosexual-agenda pushing, atheistic, baby-murdering social liberalism that the Democrat party is so fond of. Libertarians also oppose social conservatism in some extent whenever social conservatism advocates government intervention for its goals. Some moderates and pragmatists within the Republican Party in the U.S. also believe some of the social conservative ideas, such as restrictions on contraceptives, are not practical in today’s society. Neoconservatives, particularly those of the Bush variety, oppose various forms of social conservatism.
    Social conservative attributes
A social conservative may be defined as one who regards as still valuable the ideals that have traditionally been regarded as central to the welfare of our society. Those who are socially conservative in Western society may be regarded as radical were they to promote their ideas in another society, such as Saudi Arabia.
Those who believe in social conservatism would assert that it needs to be distinguished from mere fiscal conservatism. Social conservatives deplore the waste of public financial resources, but do not make the achievement of national wealth an aim to be divorced from the goal of enabling that wealth to benefit the people as a whole.
The term “social conservative” might be used for one who holds to particular ideals but has no concept of promoting them in society at large. But generally social conservatives are conceptualized as regarding their views as worthy of being supported for the benefit of society as a whole. Thus they are concerned with the role of government, which is capable of either supporting or undermining the foundations on which society has been built.

Looks like southerners weren’t Christian, either.

  4. “One more thing also: a true conservative is a traditionalist.” You have zero clue as to what Conservatism is, and so you use the southern leftist views to twist it into whatever description is convenient for you. Thievery and even murder are unfortunate traditions, and yet Conservatism doesn’t support them. Southerners like democrats do, though. Fought a war over it. Lost.

“The South was far more traditional than the North. The Northern Federalists were utmost liberals of their day.”

Yeah, because my relatives – Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams – were so liberal.

“The South wanted to preserve their way of life.” They supported murder, slavery, torture, rape, etc. That was their way of life.

“Some supported slavery in that sense, but not all. In fact Jefferson Davis himself said “We fight not for slavery , but for independence”.”

Funny, because I recall Davis the Fake President saying:

“If slavery be a sin, it is not yours. It does not rest on your action for its origin, on your consent for its existence. It is a common law right to property in the service of man; its origin was Divine decree.”
    ~Davis

“African slavery, as it exists in the United States, is a moral, a social, and a political blessing.”
    ~Davis

“My own convictions as to negro slavery are strong. It has its evils and abuses…We recognize the negro as God and God’s Book and God’s Laws, in nature, tell us to recognize him – our inferior, fitted expressly for servitude…You cannot transform the negro into anything one-tenth as useful or as good as what slavery enables them to be.”
    ~Davis

How in your “right mind” could you think the Confederacy was a liberal movement? It certainly was not.

I’ll believe my Brother in Blue, before I believe a moral deficient, such as yourself.

“It was a very patriotic movement. A very traditional movement.” So was the rise of the National Socialist Party.

“They still have slavery in the North .”

No, we don’t. You’re obviously on drugs.

“General Lee freed his slaves in 1862. The Emancipation Proclamation was not written until a year later.”

Maybe he saw which way the winds were blowing. And a Human being wouldn’t enslave people, in the first place. Maybe you should be one, for a few years. See if you like it.

“In this enlightened age, there are few I believe, but what will acknowledge, that slavery as an institution, is a moral & political evil in any Country. It is useless to expatiate on its disadvantages. I think it however a greater evil to the white man than to the black race, & while my feelings are strongly enlisted in behalf of the latter, my sympathies are more strong for the former. The blacks are immeasurably better off here than in Africa, morally, socially & physically. The painful discipline they are undergoing, is necessary for their instruction as a race, & I hope will prepare & lead them to better things. How long their subjugation may be necessary is known & ordered by a wise God.” Robert E. Lee, failed general, democrat and leftist traitor.

“The letter from which it is taken is not a condemnation of slavery; it’s a condemnation of abolitionism,”

“Mr Lincoln waged a war against the South.”

Though he didn’t order the first shot fired. The leftists of the south did.

“He sent troops into the Southern states to surround them and coerce them into war.”

    They didn’t have to fight.

“The truth is, there was good and bad on both sides.” Cop out.

“But to say that Republicans were the conservatives of that time- I wholeheartedly disagree.”

    Good for you.

“And before you attack me- I am a conservative Republican.”

Liar. You couldn’t even articulate what that was, earlier, with a bogus definition. Not even a nice try.

“…but if this were 1860, I would be voting for Jeff Davis.”

Shocker. You’d vote for the Slave Party. You could knock me over with a feather.

“My ancestors all fought bravely for the Southern states during the War for Southern Independence. They were “lefitsts liberals”. You are so misguided and need to learn real history .”

And a lot of my ancestors killed yours. They fought against the Slave Party, and the demonic torturers that enforced their rules, with their very lives. Now stop trying to lecture me on your revisionist history, Mr Conservative, when you don’t even know what the word means. Have fun voting for the Slave Party.

  5. The Confederates didn’t wage a war against the Government. That was not their goal. Lincoln violated the constitution by declaring war with congress absent! He sent troops to surround Ft Sumter. Coercing them to “fire the first shot”. The South was invaded by force by the US Government.

That is not conservative to me! That is big government liberal at its finest.

Lincoln wasn’t even an abolitionist. Furthermore, the abolition movement was to “send Negroes back to Africa”. They were not Christians. They were Unitarians. False doctrines and lies.

You are using and skewing information to suit your own purpose. I am a conservative.

No offense, but you sound like a classc liberal case to me. Its the liberals that want to ban the Confederate battle flags, change political rhetoric, say the way was over “slavery” etc. its the far left that wants to tear down Confederate monuments, rename Confederate streets, and ban the song “Dixie”. These are half truths, if any truth at all. It was not over slavery. It was for states rights. And interviews with Confederate veterans themselves- (many who did not own a single slave) support this theory. Even Northern historians agree that the South was on the defensive strategy.

  6. Your ancestors did not fight to free a single slave. They fought to preserve the Union.

  7. Robert E. Lee was a devout Christian! A leftist? No. The Democrat party was the oldest party of the country of that time. The Republicans were new. There was nothing left about the Democrats of that day. You are terribly confused!

  8. con·serv·a·tive
    kənˈsərvədiv/
    adjective
    1.
holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion.

SOUNDS A LOT MORE LIKE THE SOUTH!

  9. Happy Thanksgiving!

    https://coldsouthernsteel.wordpress.com/2013/11/26/confederate-thanksgiving/

I don’t wish to argue further. But I will leave you with this:

Just logically, common sense will tell you that the North/Northeast to this day is still the bastillion of liberalism. The North is the most liberal part of the country! The South? Not so much. Use your head.

  10. Yeah, that’s why the south still has a propensity for electing Slave Party governors.

  11. Why is the Northeast almost all Democrat, and the South today is largely Republican? What happened there? I think the “liberal” South is because of the Northeast transplants moving in. For example, Virginia and North Carolina used to be the most conservative areas in the country. They are now liberal because of you dang Yankees moving down here. Think on that for awhile. Thanks.

  12. Abe Lincoln was a leftist. Remember that the Republican party went through many factions and changes over time. Just because Republicans are conservatives today, doesn’t mean they were decades ago. The Democrats definitely had a conservative faction as well. It is incorrect to say that the parties “switched sides” but its also incorrect to say that the Republicans are always conservatives and Democrats were always liberals.
