Donald Trump and his White Supremacists

trigger warning

So, once again, due to his recalcitrance to release his arm-in-arm, lock-step march with the White Supremacist Movement, Thump has gotten back into the news.

Once again, Trump shows that he’ll lie, much more reliably, than tell the truth.

From Reason.com:

Here’s what Trump said:

“I don’t know anything about David Duke, OK? I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know — did he endorse me or what’s going on? Because I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about white supremacists. And so you’re asking me a question that I’m supposed to be talking about people that I know nothing about.”

When Tapper followed up, clearly noting Duke’s connection to white supremacy and the Ku Klux Klan, Trump again responded that he would “have to look at the group” before weighing in further.

But Trump certainly knew who David Duke was in 2000. As The New York Times reported at the time, Trump declined to be a presidential candidate on the Reform Party ticket explicitly because of Duke’s Klan connections:

Mr. Trump painted a fairly dark picture of the Reform Party in his statement, noting the role of Mr. Buchanan, along with the roles of David Duke, a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, and Lenora Fulani, the former standard-bearer of the New Alliance Party and an advocate of Marxist-Leninist politics.

“The Reform Party now includes a Klansman, Mr. Duke, a neo-Nazi, Mr. Buchanan, and a communist, Ms. Fulani,” he said in his statement. “This is not company I wish to keep.” [via Justin Green]

Fortunately, there are some Conservatives out there, including Senator Ted Cruz, someone Thump really hates.

Ted Cruz called Thump out on his refusing to let go of his racist brethren, and did it where Thump has his most brainless (and racist:  http://nymag.com/following/2016/01/donald-trump-mostly-retweets-white-supremacists.html  http://www.rawstory.com/2016/01/donald-trump-just-retweeted-a-white-supremacist-just-to-get-a-dig-on-jeb-bush/) followers:  Twitter.

saying (on TWITTER, mind you), “OK, I disavow” is really doing it? That’s as heartfelt as when someone that’s wronged you, but doesn’t want to apologize breaks down and sighs: “OK, I’m sorry.” Thump didn’t repudiate their ideology, he didn’t soundly condemn racial supremacism , as a whole, etc. He continues to lie about David Duke, pretending not to know about him (I knew who David Duke was, back in the 70s, watching 60 Minutes; Thump gets his policy advice from watching TV, so he should know, too), even though he clearly does (https://reason.com/blog/2016/02/28/donald-trump-repeatedly-refuses-to-disav). And let’s not forget why he was so hesitant to distance himself from his White supremacist brothers:

“I have to look at the group. I mean, I don’t know what group you’re talking about,” Trump said. “You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I’d have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them and certainly I would disavow if I thought there was something wrong. But you may have groups in there that are totally fine — it would be very unfair. So give me a list of the groups and I’ll let you know.”

Seriously?

seriously

Just being White supremacist organizations wasn’t enough for him to want to have nothing to do with them, so he’d have to look into them, just to make sure. So, in other words, after ‘looking’ into these groups, he could’ve decided that they weren’t such bad people, and refuse their support. That says a lot about the son of a member of the Ku Klux Klan (http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/fred-trump-arrest-1927-kkk). Maybe this is the reason he doesn’t want to release his tax returns, until he can have them fully redacted or scrubbed. Maybe it’s because he’s been making donations to groups like the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations, the World Church of the Creator, the American Nazi Party, EURO, Phineas Priesthood and White Aryan Resistance. It wouldn’t surprise me. And, like DJ Rump once said:

I’m sure the people that support a piece of dirt like Thump wouldn’t, considering what kinds of people they tend to be.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/12/21/how-donald-trump-is-breathing-life-into-americas-dying-white-supremacist-movement/

I’ve already had one berate me, telling me that Lincoln didn’t really free the slaves; that he (Lincoln) violated the States’ [non existent] right to kidnapping, Human trafficking, rape, torture, murder, work people to death, and sell their children like puppies at an open air flea market; that slaves were very well taken care of, and that they wished they had the life of a slave; that only a couple of people in the South had slaves, and really it was the North that was stockpiling them, apparently; that Lincoln was a “…socialist…”; that the Civil War wasn’t even about slavery; Lincoln launched a “…war of aggression…” against the South, for whatever reason; etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda. I’m very sure Thump’s inhereted the paulnut Neo Confederates from the Pauls.

And let’s backtrack for a bit:  so, the guy that sooo reluctantly (and allegedly) disavowed the White Supremacist Movements of the country says he’s a “…strong Christian…”?

http://therightscoop.com/im-being-audited-because-im-a-strong-christian-trump/

Maybe we should really examine Thump’s theology.  Just as it turned out that Obama’s ‘spiritual adviser’ Jeremiah Wright wasn’t really a Christian, but a Black Liberation Theologian (as the Obamas probably are), maybe Thump’s something similar.  Why else would he attack Ted Cruz, for his own faith (which, to date, hasn’t prompted him to associate with groups like La Raza, or other racial supremacist organizations)?

If you’re fooled by this toupee-wearing, fake spray tan having, overweight, left-wing, non-Christian, loud-mouthed used car and snake oil salesman, that’s because you are a fool.
